Milan Fashion Week: images from Moschino, Missoni, Versace shows
As always, Milan Fashion Week is rich not only with memorable collections and outfits, which become something everyone would like to have, but also impressive beauty images. At Moschino, Missoni, Versace shows could be seen makeups and hairstyles with “plastic” doll beauty, bohemian chic and sport glam.
Life in pink colors: Moschino
The designer Jeremy Scott released on the catwalk real copies of Barbie doll. Makeup artists and stylists worked hard to make the models, participants in the show, the plastic ideal of beauty, well known since childhood.а.
Firstly, masters needed wigs with airy locks and lush fleece, and most of them were in blond shades – yellow, in the spirit of good old 90’s. By the way, when working with wigs, they had no worries about how to make them look natural. Artificiality made them look more puppet, that was on hand for the stylists. Secondly, an integral part of the image became fabulously fluffy and long false eyelashes. The girls had only to lightly clap them to give their image a more naive look. Third, Barbie would not be Barbie if in her image she did not added the pink color. “Candy”, sweet as cotton candy and glossy shiny as the lacquer coating from the toy car of the glamorous blonde. Such shade of pink was on the lips and nails of models. The final touch in this image was the shining skin (on the face and on the body) – this technique added a “plastic” shimmer.

Sport trend: Versace
The pink range was also the basis of images from Versace shows. “But this is not the pink that reminds us of toy ponies” – said Pat McGrath, which was responsible for the backstage makeup. The puppet pink color was really enough on Moschino show so McGrath opted for a pastel pink with a delicate pearly shimmer. She applied it on the eyelid of the models in a barely noticeable layer. In tone with the eye-shadows, she used a fresh blush on the cheekbones of girls and also glitter on their lips. The result was a variation of the spring “a la naturel” image.
But the hairstyle, created by Guido Palau, added a sporting chic in the appearance of models, who diligently tried to promote it in the New York shows. The creation of hairstyles began by giving the hair volume at the roots. Then, the stylist brushed them back and fixed getting a sexy styling with a boyish audacity touch. However, it perfectly “get along” with the pink pastel from the makeup.

Focus on East: Missoni
The colorless naturalness, supported by a good half of designers at the spring-summer 2015 shows, is not what Missoni is interested in. The makeup artist Lucia Pieroni, doing the makeup of the models, opted for the return of the red lips fashion. Or at least the coral – this shade of lipstick is considered more appropriate for the spring-summer season. Having bright lips, said Lucia, you can not create other accents in the image. It will be enough to just slightly apply on the cheekbones a soft blush and arrange the eyebrows.
Taking a decision on the hairstyle, the hair stylist Paul Hanlon advises to opt for a voluminous bun,”hidden” in a turban. Previously, it is worth getting inspired by oriental motifs and bohemian style. Shawl with colorful prints will add your image even more brightness, and also help you out in case your hair quickly loses freshness in the heat after washing. Paul is convinced that the advantages of the turban are not over here: “They are visually tightening the effect on your face!”
