London Fashion Week trends, Fall-Winter 2014-2015
There are a lot of fashion shows but among them there are 4 main shows organized in the world’s biggest cities such as Milano, Paris, London and New York.
The London fashion week is the most democratic out of the biggest 4 as here you can show yourself, get inspired and at the same time gain a great success and your colleagues respect. All famous and beginner designers hurry to get to such an important event. At such events, there are special categories where designers present their self. For example, Estethica compartment is meant for those who create from ecomaterials, while New Generation is aimed at discovering new talents because here also young designers participate.
London Fashion Week is held twice a year and is a closed event at which without a pre-registration and a special invitation you will never get. Therefore, if you were not among the lucky ones to whom designers presented their products, check out our report and you will learn about all the highlights of the fashion event.
The main trends at London Fashion Week are:
• abundance of sparkling crystals, rhinestones, sequins, embroidery
• white, wine, purple
• color mix
• Gold Rush
• exotic patterns, national ornaments and ethnic prints
Velvet dresses in fashionable colors (burgundy, black, blue) were presented in the collections of Tom Ford, Marques’ Almeida.
Clothing in origami-style presented designers such as Christopher Kane, Ashish. Agree, a dress resembling paper sheet look fantastic, and most importantly it will certainly not allow you to merge with the crowd. And indeed, during the show, the audience presenting such products literally screamed in astonishment.
As judged by the last London shows, in trend are abundance of rhinestones, sequins and various embroidery.
Continuing the theme of rhinestones and sequins, we can not bring up the gold rush, which again covered the fashion industry. Glittering products are present in almost every collection.
The fashionable color palette is extensive, but white, wine and purple colors come forward.
Color mix is a trend of London shows. Clothing made of colorful pieces looks juicy and festive, but can be worn not only on special occasions, but also every day.
Exotic patterns, national ornaments and ethnic prints remind you of pleasant summer trips, or inspire you to new feats and discoveries.
