The Paris Fashion Week could not go without a collection of Karl Lagerfeld, who has demonstrated to the public a huge amount of models from short dresses to coats. Here were suits, skirts, jackets, made in the style of the early Baroque and architectural minimalism.
The show was filled with rich fabrics and décor, which literally dazzled spectators and journalists. Brocade, silk, tweed, lace and many other textures have allowed the author to create this collection, because the main feature was the shape.
Classic tweed suits of this brand continue to be on the podium. This time, the distinctive feature of this style was the collar which took the form of a wide stand up. In some cases it has been replaced by fur or generally it was not present. This way was also presented coats in combination with shorts. Clear and direct silhouettes of dresses and coats completed the beads and stones decoration, giving the products a festive look. Some of the items were embroidered with feathers, with matched perfectly the original hairstyles of models.
The footwear was very modest. The author opted for sandals with a continuous sole with laces. The bag matching the coat is another haute couture trend.
